Principal Engineer – Systems Security Architecture

JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will focus on:

• Extremely technical having vast experience of modern cryptographic algorithms and secure communications protocols.
• Familiar with and practice of Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) for threat modeling, security objective definition, security architecture design/specification, both at the full system level and component/subsystem level.
• Experience in networking systems, security protocols, and stacks, such as TLS/SSL, MACsec, IPsec, VPNs.
• Hands-on experience in Linux Kernel, Linux kernel networking, Virtualization, Containers, Linux security aspects.
• Experience in an architecture role, including requirements management, architecture definition, performance optimization.
• Experience in security software development processes practice, focusing on threat modeling, security objective definition, and mitigation through security architecture.
• Experience with CPU architectures.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to work across multiple geographical locations.
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Computer Science + 10 years of experience, or MS + 8 years of experience, or Ph.D. + 5 years of experience
