JOB DESCRIPTION

• Architect and lead the development of communications ICs having advanced signal processing blocks.
• Leadership in signal processing architecture.
• Leadership in debugging cross-functional issues in designs at prototyping and silicon stages.
• Interact with RF, ASIC design, and Mktg. teams to come with suitable architectures for the product that meets customer requirements.
• Involve yourself in day-to-day activities of design, test, handover to ASIC, help in bit vector matching, and validate FPGA-based solution.
• Participate in Silicon Bring-up and Validation, characterization over PVT, and production test development.
• Ability to work across different functional areas, such as RFIC, ASIC, and software to be able to articulate signal processing limitations at the same time achieve a good trade-off.
• Passion for thinking through the problem and ability to do the required theoretical analysis.
• Strong academic background (Master’s or Ph.D. in signal processing or related area)
• 10+ years of work experience in at least one or many of the following areas.
• Wireless modulator/demodulator design.
• Wireline modulator/demodulator design.
• LDPC/Reed-Solomon/Trellis Coded Modulation.
• Power amplifier Linearization techniques.
• SERDES – Physical layer.
