JOB DESCRIPTION

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of RF system design including line up analysis, breaking down of system specs into subsystem specs, the impact of the specs for various components/subsystems like LNA, PA, Mixer, PLL, ADC, and DAC on system performance parameters, and impact of physical design(PCB design, System Design).
• Good knowledge in RF design including RF components, transmission lines, impedance matching.
• Experience in Pre and Post Silicon Validation / Characterization of RF/Mixed-signal chips.
• Extensive experience in the use of RF /Digital test Equipment like Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Network Analyzer, Logic Analyzer, etc.
• Experience in creating and executing test and characterization plans for RF/mixed signals chips to ensure system-level and block-level test coverage.
• Ability to collect data, plot them, analyze them and debug issues, pointing to weaknesses in the design.
• Good understanding of digital communications systems and technologies such as GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, LTE, and 5G NR, and underlying modulation schemes.
• Experience in RF/Mixed-signal/High-speed digital PCB design is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of non-electrical aspects of system/PCB design such as thermal, mechanical.
• Experience in test automation is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of DSP is advantageous.
• Knowledge of FPGA programming is advantageous.
• Bachelors /Master’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
• 7 to 10 years experience in the RF System Engineering domain
