JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Staff Technical Marketing Engineer, you will be responsible for the competitive analysis of the products and solutions that the Datacenter group is enabling and bringing to market. This will involve analysis of internal and competitive products, designing and executing benchmarks, working with engineering to interpret results, and working with engineering around areas for improvement. Additionally, results from the benchmarking will be leveraged in externally facing collateral and you will be responsible for the organization and reporting of data for the outbound product marketing team. The datacenter team is enabling a wide range of solutions for a diverse set of customers, the technical marketing engineering team looks at the computer, networking, and storage acceleration solutions, such as:

Video transcoding, machine learning, database acceleration, leveraging smartness to offload hypervisor systems, computational storage, and HPC application acceleration.

Years of Experience:

5+ years experience in a technical role involving benchmarking and analysis. Focus on embedded software within SPDK and DPDK Linux environments for networking and storage acceleration a plus.

2+ years experience in a marketing or business function reporting technical information for internal and external stakeholders.

Overall 10-14 years of experience, worked on SmartNiC.
